PDFI'm madly working away to get these guides out to you folks. Making the guides how I want them to be presented really requires my personally completing them. So that being the case, it's going to take a while to release them all!
So far, I've got two characters up to Expert at around 100 skill for Artificing, Outfitting and Runecrafting. I've created the Outfitting guide to go with Runecrafting because the two work so well together.
Lilia's Artificing creations were shard firsts on Corthana for nearly everything she's made so far. Folks are catching up to me there now though – do it's been a bit of a race to stay above the pack! I'm in no mad rush to reach max level, but I really want to get the professions maxed asap.
My other character mastered the Novice levels for Outfitting and Runecrafting at level 6. So that was interesting too. You don't have to level your characters up to learn the next tier in the profession. So there's an FYI for you all.
Another thing that the hubby pointed out was about Augmentations – those shards you get from crafting dailies or from the Augmentation merchant. While it seems you can place a whole stack, or several, Augmentations in the crafting slot provided (before you make the item), doing so will not result in more +stats on that item. In fact, only one augment will be used and the rest returned to you.
I will be compiling a list of available Augmentations by name and how much of which stat they boost too. Unless one of you already have one you'd like to share!
